Short ingredient lists we can read without a chemistry degree
Body
A short, considered list for skin, hair, and bath.
Fewer products, chosen carefully. We'd rather explain what's in something than tell you it's good for you.
Featured editorial
The bar of soap we keep buying again.
Cold-pressed, unscented, wrapped in paper. Six ingredients, all listed on the label.
Nothing else in the cupboard has lasted this long without a reformulation.
Skincare & Bath
The current selection.
A small, considered selection rather than a full catalogue.
Hair
A shorter shelf than most.
We carry a shampoo bar, a conditioner bar, and a scalp oil. That's the whole hair section for now. We'd rather add the fourth product once we've actually used it for a season than fill the shelf for the sake of it.
Ingredients
What's on the label matters more than what's on the front of the box.
We read the full ingredient list before we carry anything, not just the marketing copy. If we can't explain what an ingredient does, we don't stock the product.
What we look for
Plant oils and butters as a base, not fillers
Packaging that can be refilled, reused, or recycled locally
What we leave out
Synthetic fragrance blends
Sulfates as a primary cleansing agent
Parabens
Stay in the loop
A short list, kept short on purpose.
We'll only email when something new is actually worth adding to it.
